Bereavement counselling

The death of someone important to you can be devastating, and change your world dramatically. Adjusting to a loss can be extremely difficult. There is no formula for grief, and everybody will grieve in their own way, and in their own time.  A wide range of painful and unexpected emotions can emerge during the process, and these can be hard to deal with.

A loss needs to be acknowledged before we can learn to accept it and move forward. Talking things through with a supportive counsellor can help you make sense of what is going on for you, and help you cope with the many life changes that bereavement brings.

Bereavement counselling is an area that I have a particular interest in and I can help you through this difficult and challenging time. I have received specialist training through Bradford Bereavement Support.
